Professor Gary Cook MBBS, MSc, MD, FRCR, FRCP Professor of PET Imaging, Cancer Imaging Dept, School of Biomedical Engineering and Imaging Sciences, King’s College London. Honorary Consultant, Guy’s & St Thomas’ NHS Trust Gary Cook trained in radiology and nuclear medicine in London. 2000-11: Royal Marsden Hospital, consultant physician 2011: KCL and Guy’s & St Thomas’ Hospitals Clinical academic, Cancer Imaging Department & nuclear medicine physician, KCL and Guy’s & St Thomas’ PET Centre. Research interests: imaging tumour heterogeneity, evaluation of novel tracers and biomarkers and refining multimodality imaging for diagnosis and response assessment in oncology. He has published over 170 peer-reviewed papers, written many review articles and book chapters and edited a number of text books.
