Dr Charlie Sayer

Dr Charlie Sayer is a Consultant Radiologist with an interest in thoracic, head & neck and oncological imaging. He completed a 2 year fellowship in cardiothoracic and body imaging in London, UK. During this period he completed academic work in lung cancer surveillance imaging, pulmonary hypertension and interstitial lung disease. Presentations entitled Surveillance and Progression of Lung Cancer: Key concepts and New Directions and Lung Cancer Response Assessment: Beyond RECIST presented at the Radiological Society of North America (RSNA), in 2014 and 2017 were awarded Magna Cum Laude accolades. He has recently co-authored a book chapters and papers on lung nodule imaging, interstitial lung disease, pulmonary hypertension, lung cancer screening and pericystic lung cancer. Faculty for thoracic imaging education for the American College of Radiology and RSNA. He teaches as part of the Brighton and Sussex Medical School undergraduate and post-graduate programmes.
