Dr Parthiban Arumugam
Dr Parthiban Arumugam qualified in medicine from Madras, India; in 1991. He trained in the UK in medicine and nuclear medicine at Wigan and Manchester Royal Infirmary respectively. He has worked as a Nuclear Medicine Physician at the Nuclear Medicine Center at Manchester University NHS Foundation Trust since 2005 and also the Clinical Director since 2014. He is a past President of the British Nuclear Cardiology Society and currently serves as a member of the PET committee of American Society of Nuclear Cardiology and British Nuclear Medicine Society Education committee. He has co-authored several publications in the field of cardiac PET and myocardial perfusion SPECT in peer reviewed journals; co-editor of Cardiovascular PET current concepts and contributed to book chapters in An Atlas of Clinical Nuclear Medicine and Cardiology Clinics of North America.
