Current trends in Nuclear Cardiology 03 Jun 2021

This half-day virtual event covered the existing and new exciting applications in the fields of PET myocardial perfusion, infection and inflammation imaging as well as SPECT in CAD and amyloidosis. Our renowned international multidisciplinary faculty of expert imaging cardiologists and nuclear medicine physicians provided a comprehensive overview of radionuclide PET and SPECT imaging in various cardiovascular diseases. Viewers will be able to appreciate the strengths and understand the appropriate use of cardiovascular radionuclide imaging.

This virtual event recording will be of interest to all nuclear medicine physicians; radiologists and cardiologists with special interest in imaging; trainees, clinical physicists, technologists and healthcare managers.

Educational aims:

  • To understand the appropriate guidelines-based use of nuclear cardiology imaging for patients with known or suspected CAD using SPECT and PET.
  • To understand the appropriate guidelines-based use of nuclear cardiology imaging for patients with suspected cardiac infection/inflammation and cardiac amyloidosis.
  • At the conclusion of the webinar, the participant will have a better understanding of the role of nuclear cardiology in various clinical settings.
