A one-day interview course specifically designed for radiology registrars applying to UK consultant or fellowship posts and FY1-2 or speciality level trainees applying for radiology specialist trainee posts.

To provide preparation for interviews and to update participants about recent NHS changes and management issues facing future trainees.

Call for abstracts
We are looking for abstracts for poster presentations relating to all areas of medical imaging and radiotherapy including educational, case reports, audits and research.

Prizes will be awarded for the highest quality poster in the following categories:
• Research/audit
• Case report/education

Abstracts should be submitted by 5pm Wednesday 31 October 2018 here

British Institute of Radiology “Future of Radiology” Essay Prize
To apply:

  • Participants are invited to write an essay with the title ‘The role of the radiologist in the year 2040: Discuss.
  • The maximum word limit is 1000 words
  • All medical students, foundation doctors and core trainees are eligible
  • Participants must register for the event prior to submitting their application
The winner will be reimbursed after the prize is awarded along with the winning essay being published on the BIR website.
