This is a two day course and delegates can choose to attend one or both days. Day 1 will focus on essential physics for FRCR an will act as a vital revision day for trainees taking this exam or a handy refresher course for consultants and radiographers, with lectures covering all the main topics including IRMER, X-ray imaging, computed tomography and nuclear medicine. Day 2 is designed to demonstrate how contrast media works in a variety of established imaging techniques, to understand the reasons behind the choice of contrast for each procedure and the risk and benefits of each contrast agent. It will benefit trainees in radiology and established consultant radiologists wishing to keep abreast of the new contrast agents, and their use with established and new imaging techniques.
