We recognise the importance of leadership teams, and decision-makers, who are representative of the diverse workforce and patient populations we serve. Yet medical imaging somewhat remains a male-dominated speciality, and with the emergence of AI, we could see increasingly narrow perspectives in decision-making roles.
This one-day event was an opportunity to bring women, and those looking to support women, together and provide a forum for networking and sharing experiences and ideas. We invited a range of fantastic speakers to lead our discussions on female leadership, support networks, and medical imaging AI. We hope that attendees and viewers will feel empowered to participate in decision-making related to AI & digital transformation, as well as apply for leadership roles so that our specialty can be truly representative.
