Building on the success of previous BIR IRMER updates, this event aimed to provide an invaluable multidisciplinary forum in which to hear about key topics and current practices in the management and compliance with IR(ME)R.
This year showcased the Multi-Disciplinary Team (MDT) approach to delivering Radiation Safety. Exploring the many roles and integrative technologies that have a part to play in achieving compliance with IR(ME)R and enhancing radiation safety.
It also included a session, reviewing regulation updates and radiation incident management. Plus, examining the importance of Training and Development in embedding a positive safety culture.
Educational aim:
To provide information on an MDT approach to Radiation Safety; including an opportunity to discuss some current radiation safety challenges facing MDTs.
